How long do returns take?
For refunds to original payment method, please allow up to 14 business days from when we receive the items for your account to be refunded.
We work as quickly as we can to inspect returns upon arrival and issues refunds promptly. Generally we're faster than this but 14 business days is our standard policy.
I removed the tag on the item I purchased, can I still return or exchange the item?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept items that have been worn or the tags removed. We have to enforce this policy to keep our customers happy and healthy.
I received the incorrect items, how can I get this fixed?
It's rare for this to happen but if you believe you have recieved and incorrect item we apologize for the mixup!
Upon receipt of an incorrect item you will need to request a return and refund following the same procedures and policies for any other return for a refund.
HOWEVER before shipping the item back you must send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, order number and explanation of which incorrect item(s) you received so that we know not to deduct the return and restocking fee of $6.95. If it was an error on our part we will not deduct this fee from your refund.

I was refunded less than I paid initially, what gives?
This could be happening for two reasons:
- If you paid for shipping on your order: Shipping is not refunded because it is a service already completed (we can't get a refund from the carrier).
- If you are doing a return: there is a $6.95 fee to cover return shipping and restocking.
ORDER & PAYMENT
If you place an online order and the payment is successful the team in our warehouse will often begin picking, packing and shipping your order within 10 minutes. For this reason it is generally not possible to make a change on an order after it is placed.
However if you know you made an error on your order please email email@example.com as quickly as possible and if we are able to make the change before the item is packed and shipped we will do so. It is rare that we are able to intervene and make a change in this situation, but if we are successful, we will ship the corrected item you request and not charge the $6.95 return & restocking fee.
We have a very low rate of returns and believe it is best for our customers if we ship items as quickly as possible. The downside is that if you place an order with an incorrect item or shipping address it is not typically possible to make corrections before the warehouse team picks, packs and ships your item(s). These dudes are FAST!
Welcome / First Order Discount
- We love to welcome new customers to the LIEF fam by providing a first order discount. You can get access to our first time customer discount by subscribing to email or texts in the popup on our website.
- After submitting you will receive a text message or email with our first order discount code that you can use at checkout when you're ready (and if you've never used it before).
- If you're not seeing the email, be sure to double check your spam or promotions folder for an email from LIEF.
- Due to limitations in our system, we're not able to apply discounts to orders after they have been processed. However, you can use the welcome code on your next order so please be sure to hold on to it.
- Please note that free shipping is calculated on the price of your order AFTER discounts and before taxes.
- We offer payment options through most major credit card providers. In addition we strive to offer the convenience of other payment options such as Paypal, Google Pay, Facebook/Meta Pay, and Apple Pay. Any available payment options we are currently accepting will be shown on our checkout page. The methods available are subject to change but we strive to make as many options as possible available to you as a convenience.
- We also offer split payment options through Shop Pay Installments where you can pay over multiple installments. Rates from 0%-36% APR will apply (we do not control the rate and rates are subject to change at any time by the provider). Payment options through Shop Pay Installments, are subject to an eligibility check and are provided by these lending partners: affirm.com/lenders. Options depend on your purchase amount, and a down payment may be required. State notices to consumers: https://www.affirm.com/licenses.
- GIFT CARDS and store credit issued by LIEF can also be used.
LIEF uses third party payment providers that validate your payment method. If your payment method is declined we cannot assist in resolving the payment validation.
- You can sign up HERE to refer friends and family to get additional discounts.
- Referrals initiated to friends and family are only valid on the friend or family member's first order with LIEF. However the person making the referral (with their referral code) can receive unlimited credits for all the orders generated by their referrals.
- Friends & family must spend the minimum value listed on the referral discount page in order to use the referral discount.
- Friend referral discounts are valid for at least 60 days after issue but this policy is subject to change at any time. If a referral discount is not working and you are sure it is not your first order, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
- 24 hours after a successful purchase by the friend referred using the referral discount code, advocate will receive a discount code via email for $20 off.
- Advocate discount code may only be used on orders greater than the minimum value listed on the referral discount page.
- Advocate reward are valid for at least 60 days after issue but this policy is subject to change at any time. If a referral discount is not working and you are sure it is not your first order, please email email@example.com.
- Referral discount codes cannot be posted publicly without prior written approval by LIEF. They are intended to be used only by the Advocate.
- Any abuse of this offer, as determined by LIEF, may result in the rescission of the referring customer's referral credit and the referred person's promo code as well as both parties' inability to participate in this or future promotions.
- Referral credit cannot be applied to previous purchases and is not redeemable for cash.
- This referral program is subject to modification or termination at any time without notice at LIEF's sole discretion.
How can I become a LIEF Ambassador?
- We ask that any new interested partners first do a try-out by creating and re-sharing a video or some pics of them and our gear to start.
- If you don't have any of our gear, you're not ready to become a partner just yet. We only accept customers as partners and ambassadors.
- However, if we like the images and videos you create and share, we’ll issue credit or refund the cost of the items you purchased and talk about a partnership!
- If you have created and shared some content in our gear, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with links your posts (they must be publicly available). We will review the content and get back to you as soon as possible.
- You should also sign up for our referral program which allows you to refer people and get a $20 credit for every successful referral. See more details HERE. The referral program is the first stop in becoming an ambassador for LIEF. Those who show success promoting their referral link can be considered for partnerships.
- We place a high importance on any ambassador being an existing customer with at least one order. This is the only way for you to know how great our product is so you can speak truthfully about LIEF in any promotions.
